Sourcing Specialist (RFP Sourcer)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
2 years of experience in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering role.
Strong presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
Experience with proposal writing, solutioning, and demo creation.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), RFP tools, and solution design software.
Technical knowledge aligned with the company’s product or service domain (e.g., SaaS, Cloud, IT infrastructure).

Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with product/service capabilities.
Design and document solution architecture, workflows, and integration points.
Deliver engaging product demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical walkthroughs to prospects.
Customize presentations to align with client-specific pain points and business objectives.
Address technical objections and build confidence in the proposed solution.
Provide input to RFPs, RFIs, and technical proposal sections in collaboration with the proposal team.
Support pricing and configuration for customized solutions.
Prepare solution descriptions, diagrams, and use cases for proposal documents.
Work closely with product, engineering, delivery, and customer success teams to align solutions with internal capabilities and roadmap.
Gather client feedback and relay insights to the product/engineering teams for enhancements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during client engagements, webinars, and industry events.
