What is Apache Solr?.
Apache Solr is a fast open-source Java search server. Solr helps us in finding the required information from such a large source. Solr can also be used for storage purpose. In short, Solr is a scalable, ready to deploy, search/storage engine optimized to search large volumes of text-centric data. It is also used to index /search documents and email attachments.
